Our Founder and CEO, Chelsea Marie Barnett, has been in the business of keeping spaces organized and decluttered for several years now. OYA (initially Organize Your Apartment) was officially birthed in 2019 as a professional organizing service, specializing in physical and digital spaces as well as production, design and operations management.
While Chelsea leads the company to nationwide success, the job consists of a hands-on approach, listening carefully to each client’s needs. The unique array of services, have such a wide range now Chelsea says, “Anything you can think of that’s cluttered, it can be organized and we can do it.” With that being said, at OYA we Organize Your Assets!
MY SERVICES
As a business owner and community activist that forged me the opportunity to work in the Commissioners office for Franklin County. All of the work has brought me to this level or professionalism, which is the testament to my work ethic. Service is in my DNA! Currently, I serve the community in unique and innovative ways, one, as the president of a nonprofit called Rewriting the Narrative Inc. founded in 2020 by me and my 8 friends. Second, I serve as a Policy Director under the Franklin County Board of Commissioners and third, I serve residents of Franklin County through my professional organizing business, OYA Organizes. Throughout all my experiences, I feel like I am just getting started.
MY goals
Within my professional organizing business OYA Organizes, I collaborate with other organizers and vendors to create my fully functioning organized spaces. In the future I would like to collaborate with manufacturing brands to create furniture that all of my clients can use. As well as offer other tools and resources that can help my client maintain an organized lifestyle and totally get away from feeling cluttered in their minds.
MY BUSINESS CLIENTS
I have created many relationships with home owners all over the country and local business owners in Columbus, OH. I thank and appreciate them all for understanding my niche and hiring me for organizing services. I am appreciative for Warhol & WALL St., The Lincoln Theater, Leap of Faith Dance Studio, The Merry Makers, NAMI Franklin County, Zora’s House, SDU and the Franklin County Board of Commissioners.
My industry is very new, so a client that is open to having the OYA service, is refreshing for both the client and myself. The best part is that all business has come from word of mouth and social media. No paid marketing yet. This says a lot about the OYA service!
MY NICHE
What sets my company apart from other organizers is that I do not limit my services. Virtually anything can be organized and I provide consulting services for anything that needs sorting out.
